So my friends and I had a mostly awesome time at Ohayocon last weekend! The group consisted of myself,

,

, and several others who don't have dAs (though I thought Peachy had an account `_`). There were a lot of awesome cosplayers, but I only ended up taking one photo of an awesome Revelations Ezio. We also didn't get pictures of ourselves from my camera, though some of us got our pictures taken (and I was very happy since I made 95% of the costumes for the group,

doing the rest). This was partially because I didn't end up finishing some of the extra pieces of my costume and one piece on one of the others, but I'm planning to take advantage of a bout of good weather which should be coming up soon in order to get a photoshoot for us all. For our group, Saturday was Pokemon gijinka+Sheena from Tales of Symphonia, and Sunday was Tales+Squeenix+Jolteon. There was a ton of fantasticly nerdy merchandise in the dealer's room, and maybe one of these days I'll take a picture of the things I bought, because I was so happy with my purchases X3
Anyway, now that I know how to use my sewing machine and convention stuff is over for awhile, I'm finally legitimately getting back to doing plushies. I had kind of a funk on the plushie front towards the end of last year, but I'm actually doing it again and commissions should be open again soon. Hopefully I can get to a point where I can make them quickly enough that I can start utilizing my Etsy and keeping up on stock, but we'll see how that goes. I'm also going to try to branch out and include more than just Digimon; I'm doing some Pokemon right now, and then I want to fine-tune my human pattern (I messed around with it while I was working on

's Christmas gift-which I still haven't finished

) and start doing those. I thought it'd be fun to make plushies of the Kingdom Hearts avatar-style characters along with more standard chibi-style plushies, so I'll see how that goes as well.
I hope my watchers are doing well, and I'm going to try my best to be more active!
Also, for anyone who knows of Channel Awesome: I'm soooo excited that Doug is bringing back the Nostalgia Critic

I actually sat down and watched the other Demo Reels and they got pretty good, so hopefully we can see other story-based shows from him as well.
