Biyomon plushie

Creative title, I know-but she's finally finished! Commissioned for ; I hope you like her as much as I do! The past 3ish weeks I've been trying to get her done between school and work (although the first week was really just trying to figure out a pattern). I put a lot of effort into making her, and I'm really pleased with the result =]

She's 24" tall from her feet flat on the ground to the tips of the "feathers" on her head (so not counting the main, curled feather), completely hand-sewn (part of why it took so long since she's so big), and made of fleece so she's very soft. It was the first time I used poly-fill for stuffing, and I am never ever going back though she's also kind of heavy due to how much I stuffed her feet and head. I made her so she could properly sit, and the plan was to try to stuff her feet and legs so she would stand on her own, but it didn't work out She has a wire in her feather to make it stand up and be poseable. Her tail ended up being kind of small, but with all the other rework I had to do I decided to leave it. I actually had finished sewing all the parts together on Monday but the head was crooked and I wasn't happy with how the arms and beak were sewn on, so I decided to redo them and wasn't able to get around to it until last night. I was worried about hand-painting her eyes, but it turned out really well and we already had the perfect shade of blue paint! I really enjoyed making her, though in the future I'm definitely going to charge properly for something her size. Well, live and learn!
