Toon Link pattern

Description

Edit: Added a hair pattern: [link]

Here's the pattern for my Toon Link plushie ([link]), as requested by :iconbobrocks90:! I had no idea what category to put it in; I didn't really think it fit in "designs and interfaces"...:shrug: I drew the pattern free-handed so the lines aren't perfect, and when I put the two photos together in picnik after scanning the pieces in the edges of parts 2 and 4 got cut off, so I redrew the lines in photoshop with my mouse, so those lines are extra wobbly, sorry ^^;

Anyway. Explanation of the parts:

1--the back of the head; you need one regular and one reverse.
2--the front of the head (face); just need one regular.
3--light green undershirt; one regular and one reverse (it probably wouldn't matter too much if you do them both one way, but since the lines aren't perfect...).
4--dark green tunic; one regular, and for the reverse you may want to cut straight across the top rather than cutting out the v (just make sure not to sew the whole thing across!). Hem to desired length if necessary.
5--white pants; one regular and one reverse.
6--brown boots; two regular and two reverse.
7--ear; two regular, two reverse.
8--hand; two regular, two reverse.
9--dark green hat; one regular, one reverse (though again, it may not matter too much). This is what I used, though you may want to make the rim wider if you want the hat to cover the whole back of his head (cuz mine only went about halfway).

What I don't have here are the oval shapes you'll need for the soles of the boots, since I just cut those out once I had sewn the boots together and knew how big I would need the soles to be, the rectangular piece for his belt, and the small yellow circle for the belt buckle. I freehanded and cut out pieces of fabric for his hair after I had sewn the head together, so I don't have pieces for that, either (I looked at reference pictures to get the shape). I made the head completely out of the fabric I was using for his skin and then sewed on separate pieces for his hair, but another option is to sew the back pieces of his head from the hair fabric, and/or to do the head like in :iconbabylondonstar:'s tutorial here: [link] I painted the eyes and eyebrows, so no extra parts for those, either.

I don't really know how big these pieces are compared to the actual parts I have, so I guess just resize the image to whatever size you want for them. This pattern is free to use by anyone, just make sure you credit me if you do use it (or if you want to redistribute it somewhere else). If you make a Link with this pattern, I'd like to see it when it's done, so set me up with a link to a picture on my profile, here, or in a note when you've finished!

One last thing: I'm totally an amateur at this so I just make up patterns in shapes that I think will work, and they just happen to turn out well, so I'm sure there are better ways to do some of these parts :XD: I do have some material left, so if anyone wants to commission me I could probably make one or two :3 Hope this is useful, and happy plushing!

(And props to anyone who read the whole thing; long description is long XP)

You should have marked the patterns first.😐
